The problem

Lecturer class attendance at Equip Africa College was tracked on paper registers. Paper registers get filled in late, filled in for other people, and are tedious to total up at the end of a term.

What I built

A facial-recognition attendance system that identified lecturers on arrival and recorded the clock-in automatically, replacing the manual register.

The rest of the attachment

Alongside it I helped set up and maintain the institute's video conferencing centre for internal meetings and external engagements, provided day-to-day ICT support diagnosing hardware and software faults for staff and students, and reviewed internal systems to reduce manual workload.
