Nairobi-based travel and fintech startup Afrinity has been selected to join FasterCapital’s EquityPilot program. Afrinity is building a platform that combines curated travel experiences with embedded fintech tools.
Through the EquityPilot program, FasterCapital will work with the startup over the next 30 to 60 days to refine its product roadmap, strengthen its go-to-market strategy and prepare for early user acquisition. said the partnership will help the company prioritize the features that matter most to travelers and creators as it works to make travel across Africa more accessible and financially manageable. Over the next 90 days, the startup plans to launch an MVP focused on its core fintech features, test user acquisition campaigns targeting young travelers and onboard its first local business partners for its curated travel marketplace.
